The 12 seater van felt like part of the family after 12 days of hire. Loved the space and luggage compartment. It was the best way to travel over 2500 kms not feeling clammed up in a smaller vehicle.. Very reliable vehicle and Samuels will always be my place of choice when I’m in NZ.

Samuels Vehicle Hire were amazing. We hired a small bus to transport our group of golfers and it was perfect and fitted everyone and their clubs easily. Becky was so accommodating and when we had a slight mishap she was able to fix everything. Highly recommend.

We hired a Benz Sprinter for our family trip from Christchurch to Queenstown, and everything went perfectly. The vehicle was comfortable, spacious, and ideal for the long scenic drive. It made our journey through the South Island smooth and enjoyable.

Great experience with our 2-week hire from Samuel's Rentals. The 8-seat Mercedes Valente was comfy, roomy and easy to drive. It fitted the 6 of us easily, with 6 suitcases and other bags comfortably and made our 2,700km trip around the South Island so much more enjoyable. The booking process as well as pickup / dropoff was also very smooth & efficient.

Our experience with Samuels Vehicle Hire was very smooth. All paperwork was completed in advance, so pick up was quick and easy. The vehicle was great, and the after hours drop off system is well set up - with the slight snag of trying to manoeuvre a very long vehicle into a car park in a very full carpark. But that was a minor hassle. Overall, this company was just great to deal with and I highly recommend them.

Wonderful experience with Samuels car hire. Great communications when I landed at Queenstown there was someone waiting there for me to show me to the car. I went with another family who booked another car service where a shuttle bus took them to another location to pick up the car which added 2-3 hours to our trip. Samuel’s car hire just made things simple for us and especially after a long flight. Returning the car was easy and close to the airport. They communicated with me on WhatsApp and they were very helpful. Thank you Sharon and your team making the car hire experience perfect and a wonderful 15 seater for our family vacation.

A brilliant experience with Samuels from beginning to end. They are more of a niche provider so some of the processes are a bit more manual but all the communication was excellent. Becky was understanding and helpful even when I had a bit of an issue with making my payment on time due to a problem at my bank. Sharon was there waiting for us when we landed and was super nice and helpful, even offering some tips for our trip and helping me when I couldn't contact the Christchurch office for drop off a week later. The van was immaculate and fantastic to drive and very comfortable for our group and all our luggage. I would 100% recommend Samuels and if I ever have the opportunity to use them again, I won't consider anyone else.

Highly recommend the team at Sam’s Vehicle hire- we utilised their services for both islands and we received the most amazing service from everyone we communicated with. Due to the ever changing weather in New Zealand, we had some major flight changes which caused a few changes to our vehicle hire and the team handled it seamlessly- their communication was 10/10 and their support through such a stressful time for my family and I was so appreciated. Their vehicles were great and exactly what we needed to accommodate our huge family that included toddlers, a baby and elderly passengers.
