The 12 seater van felt like part of the family after 12 days of hire. Loved the space and luggage compartment. It was the best way to travel over 2500 kms not feeling clammed up in a smaller vehicle.. Very reliable vehicle and Samuels will always be my place of choice when I’m in NZ.

Our experience with Samuels was absolutely wonderful! We rented a 12 passenger van for a 15 day road trip. My group of 8, all of our luggage, and our many purchases fit perfectly and comfortably in the van. The staff was amazing and helpful throughout the entire booking/ travel process. Samuels Vehicle Hire is a fantastic service from beginning to end! Making the reservation on-line was simple. They requested some information prior to arrival via a linked form which was easy to do. Getting the vehicle at AKL was simple and painless due to Jackie's wonderful communication which included pictures of the signage we needed to follow (Nice touch Jackie!). Drop-off was just as easy, Jackie was standing next to the car before I had even gotten out. The van itself was absolutely perfect for what we needed, even with the steering wheel being on the wrong side :) We had six people in our group and reserved the eight seat van. Everyone had plenty of room and the luggage space was just right. When we come back to New Zealand Samuels is our first call. Thank you for the great service!

This very comfortable Sprinter brought our family of 8 with lots of luggage all over the North Island of New Zealand. The company is also super flexible. We changed the pick-up point from the airport to IBIS budget hotel Auckland Airport, shortened the rental period by 1 day, changed the drop off to Skycity hotel in Auckland instead of the airport. They accepted all these requests. Another incident when I emailed them past 7pm regarding the folding of the side mirror and Becky replied almost immediately. I strongly recommend renting from them!

An excellent experience. Great communication from prior to the booking. Ease of pickup with pre-checkin process. We had a 16 seater van and it was modern, clean and spacious. Drop off was just as easy. Just make sure you pickup/drop off at the allocated time (or amend it) as the office isn't staffed all the time. Have usually hired through another van rental company but will now always pick Samuels! Thanks again.

Hired merc 12 seater turbo sprinter, top vehicle with charging points, recliner seats and cup holders in almost every seat. Drop off was smooth. Will use again when in QT.
